I've been there myself, way too many times. That's why I started making curated lists so I can remember where I've been, and where I want to go. This is what I mostly look for.
The basics: WiFi and outlets
If you're planning to spend most of your day in one spot, you'll find a few of my favorite hermit corners in this list. But not all of them have outlets. Which leads me to point #2.
Vibes, if charging isn't necessary
This is technically my most important criterium if I'm not concerned with having to charge my laptop. For just a few hours of focus work, you'll find some of my best gems.
Diversity of space types
Sometimes I want a cafe, sometimes a proper coworking space, and sometimes just a general community space to mix up work with people watching (don't lie, we all do it). But no matter the space, I need to feel comfortable to get my work done.
Different corners of Bangkok
I've seen a lot of Sukhumvit already. Nowadays I try to drive to more local areas of Bangkok — everything east of On Nut, east of Chatuchak (e.g. Thararom Village, Ramkhamhaeng), Yan Awa, and more.
I pinned them all.

I just recently discovered this one, it's tucked away in the quiet Thararom Village and part of a big house complex; mix of open air "living room" style space and they have an indoor space with a couple of good tables to work from
I couldn't see any good outlets to charge, this is best used for 2-3 hours of focus work
very airy and multi-floor open space with tons of tables to work from, with a variety of food and drinks options, ice cream, smoothies... this is one of my go-to places.
there aren't *that* many spots with outlets; if you plan to spend the whole day there, they're either on the right side by the photo booth as you walk in, or a couple on the left side, and more by the long tables on the higher floor
It's technically listed as a cafe on Google Maps but I see it as much more than that — it's a communal space with a lot of different setups. Board games, TVs, an in-house cinema room, and tons of tables to work from. Perfect for coworking with friends or just on your own.
I was only there for a few hours and didn't need to charge, I didn't pay attention to the outlet setup while I was there.
generally quiet, good space to spend the whole day or even a few hours (just make sure to order at least a couple of items from their menu so you're not hoarding the space), and some good local food just next door. Fast WiFi.
except for their two "island" tables with outlets, none of the other areas have plugs. It's overall not a very ergonomic space, their menu's kind of overpriced, it's all matcha (no coffee), and can be pretty dark. Pro tip: if you don't like your chair, ask staff for one from a meeting room. They also love blasting the AC — bring an extra layer.
These are some of my top places to work from lately
This list is just a sample of some of the places I personally like to work from. It does not include all the places I've saved on my Google Maps list.
Beautiful green surroundings in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Bangkok; food menu is pretty decent, fast WiFi, and a wide variety of spaces to work from (I personally like the long wooden table at the front outside)
they have an indoor cafe space but personally not my vibe, it can feel claustrophobic when packed, while outside feels more spacious and airy

Despite being on Rama IV road it's a pretty quiet and spacious cafe, different types of tables to work from. Great to cowork or go solo for a few hours (they don't serve proper meals, just bites like cookies and mini cakes)
their orange americano is freshly made and really delicious, highly recommend
big wooden tables inside and generally pretty quiet — some with outlets. Organic food menu, pretty tasty and coffee's strong. I've never actually seen this place full (which is a plus) though I do hope business is doing well — go support! Their hot cakes are BOMB
Seriously their hot cakes with organic peanut butter and berries is absolutely fire, please order it
It may be a chain but the portions are big, the prices are pretty decent and quality overall is good for what you get. I like this branch especially because it's wide, lots of natural light and the bench side is perfect for a mix of work + food indulgence. Everyone from their staff is super friendly.
pro tip — get the 3-egg omelet and ask to add an extra egg. Worth it.
I love their little outdoor patio, only downside is it's right on S39 which can get busy with lots of traffic and cars but personally I don't mind the noise. They have some plants around, food's pretty good (the pulled pork toast is great). I like to go mostly in the morning.
the owners are Thai siblings — the brother is the pastry chef and the sister manages the food menu and the rest of the business. I met the sister — very lovely!
Gorgeous house turned into a cafe surrounded by gardens and plants, spacious interior and the food menu items are pretty cheap, around 150-250 baht per dish. Really nice place to do some quiet focus work or catch up with someone
The food menu is not extensive, so either eat around first or grab a bite there
Despite the busy neighborhood and construction happening nearby, it's in a smaller street and pretty quiet. Very spacious interior, great decor, a few individual tables but I personally prefer that main long wooden table. I went for a few hours of work after a workout class in that area; decent breakfast place
I'm not sure about their outlet situation if you need to charge your laptop but they might have some on the individual tables
Among all the BARTELS it's my personal favorite to work from but ONLY at the top floor, either on the main island table or the bench in the back with the outlets. But I also like the individual tables because they're most spaced out, while the others on the ground floor I find too close to one another.
Because it's such a central area it can get pretty busy, so worth trying to go earlier in the day for higher chances of scoring a good seat upstairs (unless you don't mind the closer tables downstairs)
Super spacious cafe, lots of different tables to work from and very decent coffee. Nice change of scenery and tons of amazing local food spots in that area
I haven't paid attention to the outlet situation if you need to charge your laptop, so best to go with a fully charged battery just in case
the outdoor area is my favorite part — very quiet, very lush, overall a really nice exterior decor and there are a few local shops in this whole complex including a bookstore, a couple of clothing stores and small restaurants
not the most ergonomic and it can draw in a lot of tourists, it's probably popular on social media (which, disclaimer, is where I'd initially learned about it) — even better if you go early enough in the morning for some admin work while sipping on good coffee
very airy and multi-floor open space with tons of tables to work from, with a variety of food and drinks options, ice cream, smoothies... this is one of my go-to places.

okay this one's slightly controversial because my opinion on it has changed A LOT since they fully renovated in mid 2025. But overall I do like the interior, the variety of tables and setups and I've enjoyed connecting with more people working there more recently. I usually go for just 2-3 hours (no more than 4-5 max) and maybe once or twice every other week to mix it up.
I personally think their menu's overpriced for what you get, portions are tiny. They also changed their WiFi policy — the more you spend, the longer your WiFi allowance (starts at 2 hours if you spend under 300 baht).
very small but intimate and quiet coworking space, and it's within the bigger compound where Training Ground, Revival and the healthy food spot all are. Feels much more like an overall neighborhood vibe
day pass is just under 400 baht
basically a mall-sized coworking space, tons of different setups to work from on multiple floors and very close access to food and drinks on both West and East wings.
I don't really go that often — I've found it a little too isolating without much of a soul, not like other coworking spaces that have more personality, but it's also where startup incubators/accelerators are.
